The AC9-450 is a professional-grade UHF fiberglass omnidirectional collinear antenna engineered for the 406–512 MHz frequency range. This high-gain model is designed for high-reliability base station applications, featuring a specialized center-fed design housed within a ruggedized fiberglass radome. It provides a balanced combination of a 9 dBi gain and an 18-degree vertical beam-width, making it ideal for regional repeaters and paging sites.

Precision Omnidirectional Coverage

The AC9-450 is engineered with a center-fed architecture, which is critical for maintaining pattern symmetry across the UHF band. Unlike base-fed models that can suffer from pattern "tilt" or distortion, this design ensures a true, distortion-free 360 degrees horizontal radiation pattern. The internal array consists of large-diameter brass radiating elements stacked vertically and fed in phase to achieve a constant 9 dBi gain.

The compact size of fiber glass collinear antenna allows easy handling and shipping.

Constructions: The AC9-450 is a center fed design which eliminates the distortion of the radiation pattern and ensures a true omni-directional horizontal pattern. The special stub matching is used for smooth VSWR and constant gain over the specified frequency band. The UHF collinear antenna consist of large diameter brass radiating elements stacked vertically, fed in phase and enclosed in fiber glass tube. The antenna termination is enclosed at bottom of the antenna for complete weather protection. The stainless steel mounting hardware is supplied with the antenna.
