The LP-500-6000 is a strategic-grade, ultra-wideband High Performance Log Periodic Dipole Antenna (LPDA) designed for seamless directional coverage from 500 MHz to 6000 MHz. Protected by a ruggedized Fiberglass Radome, this antenna provides a single-unit solution for the entire spectrum of modern tactical and commercial communications, including UHF military bands, 4G/5G cellular, Wi-Fi 6, and S/C-Band satellite links. Its all-welded, non-loaded 6063T6 aluminum architecture ensures a consistent 8 dBi gain and extreme mechanical survivability, making it the definitive choice for high-power jamming, spectrum monitoring, and Electronic Warfare (EW) in the most severe environmental conditions.

Design: Extreme Bandwidth & Tactical Versatility

The LP-500-6000 is engineered for operations that require "total spectrum visibility" without the logistical burden of multiple antenna swaps.

  • Ultra-Wideband Efficiency: By utilizing full-sized radiating elements without lossy loading techniques, the antenna maintains high radiation efficiency and a stable 8 dBi gain across the entire 5.5 GHz bandwidth.
  • Rugged Fiberglass Radome: The high-tech fiberglass enclosure is built for survivability. It offers exceptional RF transparency and structural strength, shielding internal elements from corrosive saline air, acid rain, and ice formation. Its tapered shape ensures a low wind profile even in 210 Km/Hr gusts.
  • Polarization Flexibility: While standard for Horizontal or Vertical polarization, an optional adapter plate allows for +/- 45-degree slant polarization, which is critical for modern MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) cellular and data link intercepts.

Construction: MIL-SPEC Industrial Hardening

Constructed from 6063T6 architectural anodized aluminum alloy, the LP-500-6000 is built for rapid installation and a 20+ year service life.

  • PIM-Free Welded Architecture: Elements are fully welded to the support booms to prevent RF inter-modulation and ensure mechanical stability under extreme vibration or shock (MIL-STD-810G).
  • Marine-Grade Durability: All hardware is made of marine-grade stainless steel. The unit is finished in Olive Green powder coating, providing superior resistance against salt fog and humidity in coastal zones.
  • Direct D.C. Grounding: Operates at D.C. ground, providing a low-resistance path for lightning protection and suppressing atmospheric static for an ultra-quiet noise floor during sensitive monitoring.

Reliability: 100W Continuous-Duty Power

With a 100 Watt power handling capacity at 6 GHz, this antenna is robust enough for high-power jamming and strategic data links. The focused 65-degree horizontal beamwidth ensures precision signal targeting, while the 17 dB Front-to-Back ratio provides excellent isolation for equipment located behind the antenna.

Technical Features

  • Ultra-Wideband 500–6000 MHz: One antenna for UHF, LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, and C-Band.
  • Rugged Fiberglass Radome: Elite protection against environmental degradation and visual detection.
  • High-Efficiency 8 dBi Gain: Consistent directional precision across the entire band.
  • MIL-STD-810G Certified: Tested for extreme temperature, shock, vibration, and salt fog.
  • Rear-End Mounting Plate: Fast installation on 51mm (2-inch) masts with optimized patterns.
  • Optional Slant Polarization: Adapter plate available for +/- 45-degree tactical requirements.
  • Direct Ground Protection: Integrated lightning protection and enhanced noise immunity.

EW & Monitoring Guide: Urban SIGINT & Wideband Strategy

The LP-500-6000 is a premier tool for the modern, signal-dense urban battlefield, covering 0.5 GHz to 6 GHz.

1. Mastering High-Frequency Multipath

In city centers, signals reflect sharply off glass and metal. The 65-degree horizontal beamwidth acts as a "spotlight," allowing an operator to scan for the strongest reflected path (Multipath Exploitation) when a direct line-of-sight is blocked.

2. Tactical Stealth

The Fiberglass Radome serves as RF camouflage. By obscuring the internal elements, it prevents an adversary from visually identifying which frequency band (e.g., 500 MHz vs. 5.8 GHz) is being targeted, providing a critical layer of tactical security.

3. High-Power Jamming Success

To disrupt high-speed 5G or Wi-Fi 6 links, a high Jamming-to-Signal (J/S) ratio is required. The 8 dBi gain concentrates power into a focused cone, exponentially increasing the Effective Radiated Power (ERP) on the target receiver.

Design Features: The LP-500-6000 log periodic dipole antenna log periodic dipole antenna uses 6063T6 ultra corrosion resistant architectural anodized aluminum alloy is designed to provide wideband directional radio signals from 500 to 6000 MHz frequency band. The extra spacers are used between the support booms to improve mechanical durability of antenna. The mounting bracket is welded at the back end of the dual booms of log periodic antenna which permits to change the polarization from horizontal to vertical and vice-versa. This log periodic dipole antenna system is particular suitable for transmission, reception or monitoring and jamming application due to its broadband design feature and small size. This log periodic antenna provides strong performance over the entire band. Log periodic antenna does not use loading technique to reduce the overall size of array.

Constructions: The log periodic dipole antenna is supplied complete in assembled condition. The LP-500-6000 assembled log periodic antennas outer-most dimensions are 0.65 meter (26 Inches) long and 0.38 meter (15 Inches) wide. The log periodic antenna operates at D.C. ground with low resistance discharge path for protection against lightning and immunity to noise. The coaxial cable sealed inside the support boom to make it weatherproof. All the screws, nuts and bolts of log periodic dipole antenna are made of marine grade stainless steel. Powder coating of the complete log periodic antenna provides extra protection against corrosion in saline weather present in coastal areas. The antenna is supplied with radome/housing with olive green color.
