The JC10-900 is a high-gain, mission-critical RCIED Jammer Collinear Antenna specifically engineered for the 850–960 MHz spectrum. This antenna is designed to provide maximum omnidirectional protection against Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs), as well as cellular interference across the GSM-900 and early 4G/LTE bands. Encased in a ruggedized fiberglass radome and utilizing high-quality brass radiating elements, it delivers a powerful 10 dBi omni gain with an ultra-thin vertical beamwidth, making it the definitive choice for vehicle-mounted convoy protection and strategic base station jamming.

Design: Omni-Directional Denial & Strategic Gain

The JC10-900 is engineered for operators who require a "bubble" of high-intensity RF energy to neutralize cellular and remote-control threats in all directions.

  • Elite 10 dBi Omni Gain: By vertically stacking high-quality brass radiating elements fed in-phase, the antenna compresses the signal into an ultra-thin 9-degree vertical beamwidth. This focuses the jamming energy toward the horizon where threats are most likely to be located, rather than wasting power in the sky or ground.
  • Co-Axial Stub & Spark Gap Tech: These advanced construction techniques ensure a smooth VSWR and consistent gain across the entire 850-960 MHz band. This translates to reliable jamming performance without the need for field tuning or adjustments.
  • NATO Mounting Standard: Featuring a standard NATO 4-hole pattern base, this antenna is ready for immediate integration onto armored vehicles, tactical SUVs, or adapter base plates, ensuring rapid deployment in convoy environments.

Construction: Combat-Hardened Survivability

Built to thrive in high-mobility tactical environments, the JC10-900 uses industrial-grade materials for zero-fail performance.

  • Fiberglass Radome Protection: The radiating elements are housed in a robust 44mm diameter fiberglass enclosure. This radome is electrically transparent but provides the mechanical strength needed to survive high-speed wind loads (150 Km/Hr) and environmental debris.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Architecture: The support pipe is crafted from 6063T6 architectural aluminum alloy, and all fasteners are made of high-grade stainless steel. This prevents degradation in coastal, saline, or tropical monsoon conditions.
  • Versatile Form Factors: While optimized for vehicle side-mounting, the antenna can be customized with pole-mounting hardware for fixed sites or direct equipment mounts for manpack jamming applications.

Technical Features

  • Comprehensive 850–960 MHz Coverage: Optimized for the global GSM-900 and RCIED trigger bands.
  • Powerful 10 dBi Forward Gain: Maximizes the effective jamming radius (Bubble) around a vehicle.
  • 200W RF Power Capacity: Sustains continuous, high-intensity electronic warfare operations.
  • Ultra-Thin 9° Vertical Beamwidth: Concentrates power exactly where it is needed for ground-based threats.
  • NATO 4-Hole Base: Industry-standard mounting for rapid convoy integration.
  • Rugged All-Weather Model: Operates reliably from -30°C to +70°C.

Integration Guide: Maximizing the RCIED Protection Bubble

1. Understanding the Vertical Beamwidth

Because the JC10-900 has a very high gain (10 dBi) for an omnidirectional antenna, its vertical "slice" of energy is very thin (9 degrees).

  • The Strategic Benefit: This ensures that nearly 100% of your jammer's output is focused on the ground-level horizon. This is critical for neutralizing IED triggers that are located near the roadway.

2. NATO Flange & Vehicle Placement

The NATO flange allows for secure mounting. When mounting on a vehicle, the side-mount position is often preferred to maintain a low vertical clearance while still providing 360-degree coverage.

3. Overcoming Convoy Signal Interference

In a convoy, multiple jammers may be operating. The JC10-900’s precise bandwidth ensures that it focuses energy on the 850-960 MHz target range without bleeding excessively into other tactical communication bands, allowing for cleaner co-site operation.

Strategic EW & SIGINT Guide: JC10-900 High-Gain Convoy Protection

The JC10-900 is a mission-critical "active shield" designed for the 850–960 MHz spectrum. This range is the primary operational band for GSM-900 cellular networks, which are globally repurposed as triggers for Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs). In a high-threat convoy environment, the JC10-900’s 10 dBi omni gain and surgical vertical beamwidth provide the necessary power density to create a definitive "no-go" zone for hostile RF triggers.

1. The "Power Bubble": 10 dBi Omnidirectional Denial

In RCIED protection, the goal is to saturate the environment with noise so that a trigger signal never reaches the IED receiver.

  • The 10 dBi Advantage: Most standard vehicle whips offer 2–3 dBi of gain. The JC10-900 provides 10 dBi, which significantly expands the effective jamming radius. By focusing energy horizontally rather than wasting it toward the sky, this antenna creates a wider "safety bubble" around the protected vehicle.
  • Vertical Beam Compression: To achieve high omni gain, the antenna compresses the RF energy into a very thin 9-degree vertical "disc." This ensures that the jammer's power is concentrated exactly at ground level, where roadside threats are located.

2. NATO Flange Integration & High-Mobility Stability

Convoy operations involve high speeds, off-road vibrations, and physical impacts from low-hanging obstacles.

  • NATO 4-Hole Standard: The integrated NATO flange allows for a rock-solid connection to heavy-duty vehicle mounts. This standardized mounting ensures the antenna remains vertical even during high-speed maneuvers, which is critical for maintaining the 9-degree horizontal signal disc.
  • Fiberglass Resilience: The radiating elements are protected by a 44mm fiberglass radome. Unlike metal whips that can permanently bend or snap, the fiberglass enclosure offers the rigidity to withstand 150 Km/Hr wind loads and the flexibility to absorb minor impacts without losing electrical alignment.

3. Overcoming Co-Site Interference

In a tactical convoy, multiple jammers and communication radios (VHF/UHF) are often operating simultaneously on a single vehicle.

  • Band-Specific Precision: The JC10-900 is tuned specifically for 850–960 MHz. This sharp frequency focus ensures that your RCIED jammer dominates the GSM trigger band without "bleeding" into the 30–500 MHz tactical radio bands used for convoy coordination.
  • In-Phase Feeding: The internal brass elements are fed in-phase to ensure a smooth VSWR (1.2:1). This stability protects the jammer's power amplifier from reflected energy, preventing hardware thermal shutdown during continuous-duty missions in desert heat.

4. "Silent" Monitoring & Signal Intercept

While primarily a jammer, the JC10-900 is an elite SIGINT tool for monitoring cellular uplink and downlink traffic.

  • DC Grounding for Sensitivity: The antenna is D.C. Grounded, which bleeds off static electricity generated by wind moving across the fiberglass surface. This results in an ultra-low noise floor, allowing a connected receiver to detect low-power cellular "handshakes" or localized trigger pulses that would otherwise be missed.

Tactical Deployment Checklist

  • Boresight Ground Clearance: Because the vertical beam is only 9 degrees, ensure the antenna is mounted as high as possible on the vehicle. A low mount may cause the "jamming disc" to be blocked by the vehicle's own armor or other convoy assets.
  • Cable Integrity: At 900 MHz, cable loss is a silent killer of jammer performance. Use LMR-400 or higher. A 3 dB loss in your cable effectively cuts your 10 dBi gain back down to 7 dBi, shrinking your protection bubble by nearly 30%.
  • Vertical Alignment: Ensure the antenna is perfectly vertical. A 10-degree tilt on a 9-degree beam means you are jamming the sky on one side and the asphalt on the other, leaving a massive "dead zone" in your protection perimeter.
  • Co-Site Spacing: Maintain at least 1 meter of physical separation between the JC10-900 and any GPS or Satcom antennas to prevent receiver desensitization.
