| JC12-5250 | RCIED Jammer Wi Fi Omni Antenna | 5100-5400 MHz | 12 dBi |
The JC12-5250 is an elite, ultra-high-gain RCIED Jammer Collinear Antenna specifically engineered for the 5100–5400 MHz band. This specialized microwave aperture delivers a massive 12 dBi omni gain, achieved through a precision-stacked array of brass radiating elements. By compressing the signal into an ultra-sharp 7-degree vertical beamwidth, the JC12-5250 provides a devastatingly powerful "denial disc" of RF energy. It is the premier choice for stationary base stations or vehicle-mounted convoys requiring the maximum possible protection radius against advanced 5 GHz triggers and tactical data links.
Design: Maximum Power Density & Range Extension
The JC12-5250 is engineered for operators who demand the longest possible standoff distance in the 5 GHz spectrum.
- Elite 12 dBi Omni Gain: By vertically stacking high-quality brass elements fed in-phase, this antenna achieves a gain level usually reserved for directional antennas, but maintains 360-degree horizontal coverage.
- Ultra-Thin 7° Vertical Beamwidth: The antenna compresses its 200W capacity into a surgical 7-degree "slice." This focuses almost 100% of the jammer’s energy toward the horizon, creating a high-intensity interference zone that extends significantly further than standard 5 dBi or 7 dBi antennas.
- Co-Axial Stub & Spark Gap Tech: These internal engineering features ensure a smooth VSWR (Better than 2.0:1) across the full 5100–5400 MHz bandwidth, allowing the jammer to operate at peak efficiency without thermal shutdown.
Construction: Hardened Microwave Architecture
Built to survive the mechanical stress of high-vibration tactical environments, the JC12-5250 uses a "zero-fail" architecture.
- Fiberglass Radome Resilience: The 19mm diameter brass elements are protected by a high-strength fiberglass enclosure. This material is electrically transparent to 5 GHz signals but provides the rigidity needed to withstand 150 Km/Hr wind loads.
- Standard NATO Interface: The integrated base features the standard NATO 4-hole mounting pattern. This allows the antenna to be rigidly bolted to vehicle side-mounts, adapter plates, or fixed masts for base station applications.
- Corrosion-Resistant Materials: Constructed from 6063T6 architectural aluminum alloy and marine-grade stainless steel, the antenna is finished in tactical Olive Green to resist salt fog, UV radiation, and acid rain.

Strategic EW & SIGINT Guide: JC12-5250 Long-Range Mastery
The JC12-5250 is a "high-power sniper" for the 5.1–5.4 GHz spectrum. Because 5 GHz signals dissipate rapidly over distance, the JC12-5250’s 12 dBi gain is essential for neutralizing distant RCIED triggers or data links before they can affect the convoy.
1. The "Razor-Thin" Protection Bubble
The most critical feature of this antenna is its 7-degree vertical beamwidth.
- The Strategy: A standard 2 dBi antenna spreads its energy like a light bulb. The JC12-5250 acts like a laser disc. By concentrating all its energy into a 7-degree slice, it delivers a massive increase in Effective Radiated Power (ERP) at the horizon.
2. NATO Base Stability & Precise Alignment
Because the beam is only 7 degrees wide, the antenna must be perfectly vertical.
- The Alignment Factor: If the antenna is tilted by only 5 degrees due to a poor mount, the jamming signal will shoot into the sky on one side and into the ground on the other. The NATO 4-hole base is vital here, as it provides the mechanical rigidity to keep the beam exactly parallel to the ground during high-speed transit.
3. Overcoming High-Frequency Path Loss
In the 5 GHz band, even light rain or foliage can significantly weaken a signal. The 12 dBi gain provides the "link margin" required to punch through these environmental obstacles, ensuring that the jammer’s signal remains dominant at the target receiver.
Technical Datasheet: JC12-5250 High-Gain RCIED Jammer Antenna
The JC12-5250 is a pinnacle of microwave collinear engineering, designed to provide a massive 12 dBi omnidirectional gain within the 5100–5400 MHz spectrum. This datasheet outlines the electrical precision and mechanical hardening required to maintain a surgical 7-degree vertical beamwidth in high-threat tactical environments.
1. Electrical Performance & Radiation Characteristics
The JC12-5250 achieves its high gain through a vertical array of precision-phased brass elements. This concentration of energy is designed to maximize the Jamming-to-Signal (J/S) ratio at extended standoff distances.
- Surgical Power Concentration: By compressing 200W of RF power into a 7-degree "Razor Disc," the antenna delivers an Effective Radiated Power (ERP) significantly higher than standard unity-gain antennas.
- VSWR Stability: Integrated co-axial stubs ensure a smooth impedance match (< 2.0:1) across the entire 300 MHz bandwidth, protecting high-power amplifiers from reflected energy.
| Electrical Specifications | Details |
|---|---|
| Frequency Range | 5100 - 5400 MHz |
| Peak Gain | 12 dBi |
| Polarization | Vertical |
| Horizontal Beamwidth | 360° (Omni-directional) |
| Vertical Beamwidth (-3dB) | 7 Degrees |
| RF Power Capacity | 200 Watts |
| Input Impedance | 50 Ohms |
2. Mechanical Architecture & Durability
Designed for the violent vibrations of armored vehicle transit and the corrosive nature of saline environments, the JC12-5250 uses a "Zero-Fail" construction philosophy.
- Radome Integrity: The 19mm Fiberglass Radome is electrically transparent to 5 GHz signals but mechanically rigid enough to prevent element shifting, which would otherwise distort the 7-degree beam.
- NATO Interface: The Standard NATO 4-Hole Pattern ensures a rock-solid mechanical bond to the vehicle chassis, maintaining the precise vertical alignment necessary for high-gain microwave performance.
3. Strategic EW Deployment Guide
A. The Horizon Alignment Factor
Because the vertical beam is only 7 degrees wide, mounting precision is the single most important factor for mission success.
- The Risk: A mounting tilt of just 4 degrees will cause half of your jamming "bubble" to point into the sky, leaving a massive vulnerability on one side of the vehicle.
- The Solution: Use a spirit level during installation on the NATO adapter plate to ensure the antenna is perfectly perpendicular to the ground plane.
B. Path Loss Mitigation at 5.4 GHz
Atmospheric absorption and physical obstructions (foliage, rain, buildings) have a significant impact on 5 GHz signals.
- Link Margin: The 12 dBi gain provides the necessary "punch" to overcome path loss, ensuring that the jammer's signal remains the dominant source of energy at the target RCIED receiver or data link node.
C. Co-Site & PIM Management
In a dense RF environment, the JC12-5250’s fully welded internal junctions eliminate Passive Inter-Modulation (PIM). This allows your SIGINT receivers to operate with a cleaner noise floor, enabling the detection of weak "handshake" signals from encrypted 5 GHz tactical networks.
4. Environmental Survivability
Tested to MIL-STD-810G standards, the JC12-5250 is built for global deployment.
- Temperature: Operational from -30°C to +70°C.
- Corrosion: Marine-grade stainless steel fasteners and 6063T6 aluminum alloy support pipe prevent degradation in salt fog and acid rain.
- Static Protection: The antenna is D.C. Grounded to bleed off the static electricity (P-Static) generated by high-speed wind, protecting sensitive receiver front-ends.
Design Features : The JC12-5250 RCIED Jammer Collinear Antenna is rugged all weather model, enclosed in a Fiber Glass enclosure, uses 6063T6 ultra corrosion resistant architectural aluminum alloy and high quality brass radiating elements. The high gain RCIED jammer collinear antenna does not require any field tuning or adjustments. This fiber glass jammer collinear antenna is specially designed to mount on the side of the vehicle with the help antenna adaptor base plate. The antenna uses standard NATO 4 holes pattern base which is suitable to mount the antenna directly on the antenna adaptor base plate. Similarly the antenna can also be supplied with pole mounting hardware for base station application and direct equipment mount for manpack application (optional).
