The JC7-5159 is a mission-critical, High Gain RCIED Vehicular Mount Collinear Antenna specifically engineered for the 5.1–5.9 GHz spectrum. This ultra-high frequency (UHF/SHF) band is the operational core for modern 5 GHz Wi-Fi, C-Band tactical data links, and advanced RCIED triggers. By utilizing high-quality brass elements and a ruggedized radome, the JC7-5159 delivers a powerful 7 dBi gain in a compact 400mm profile—making it the definitive choice for armored convoys, tactical surveillance units, and high-speed electronic warfare (EW) platforms.

Design: Precision C-Band Denial & Tactical Reach

The JC7-5159 is optimized for operators who require high-intensity signal saturation across the 5 GHz microwave band.

  • Superior 7 dBi Forward Gain: Unlike standard 2 dBi whips, the JC7-5159 uses in-phase fed brass elements to compress the signal into a tight 18-degree vertical beamwidth. This focuses the jamming energy toward the horizon, creating a dense "denial disc" that effectively neutralizes distant high-frequency triggers.
  • Co-Axial Stub & Spark Gap Tech: These advanced internal engineering techniques ensure a smooth VSWR and consistent performance across the entire 800 MHz bandwidth. This ensures the jammer operates at peak efficiency without the need for manual tuning.
  • NATO Mounting Standard: The integrated base features a standard NATO 4-hole pattern, allowing for immediate integration onto armored vehicle side-mounts or adapter base plates. For high-mobility missions, a spring-loaded version (JCS7-5159) is available to prevent damage from low-hanging obstacles.

Construction: Combat-Tier Hardening

Built to survive the mechanical stress of high-speed transit and extreme climates, the JC7-5159 uses a "zero-fail" architecture.

  • Radome-Protected Integrity: The 19mm diameter radiating elements are housed in a ruggedized Fiberglass/ABS radome. This high-tech enclosure provides 100% RF transparency while protecting the internal brass elements from ice formation, sand abrasion, and high wind loads (150 Km/Hr).
  • MIL-STD-810G Certified: Rigorously tested for shock, vibration, salt fog, and fungus resistance. It is specifically treated with an epoxy-based Olive Green powder coating to withstand saline coastal air and intense UV radiation.
  • Weather-Protected Feed: The N-Female termination is recessed at the bottom of the NATO mounting flange. This keeps the critical RF connection shielded from moisture ingress and physical damage during rough off-road maneuvers.

Technical Features

  • Comprehensive 5.1–5.9 GHz Coverage: Optimized for C-Band, Wi-Fi, and 5G microwave bands.
  • Massive 200W RF Power Handling: Sustains continuous, high-intensity electronic warfare operations.
  • Elite 7 dBi Omni Gain: Maximizes the effective jamming radius (Bubble) around the vehicle.
  • Narrow 18° Vertical Beamwidth: Concentrates power exactly where ground-based and low-altitude threats are located.
  • Fully Welded Architecture: Prevents RF inter-modulation (PIM) and ensures long-term electrical stability.
  • Standard NATO Interface: Industry-standard mounting for rapid convoy integration.

Integration Guide: Dominating the 5 GHz Spectrum

1. Precision "Denial Disc" Strategy

In the 5 GHz range, signals travel strictly line-of-sight and are easily absorbed by obstacles.

  • The 7 dBi Advantage: The narrow 18-degree beam ensures your jammer's power isn't wasted on the sky or the ground directly under the vehicle. Instead, it creates a powerful horizontal "disc" of interference.

2. NATO Flange & High-Speed Stability

Because the 5 GHz band is highly sensitive to antenna orientation, a stable mount is vital. The NATO flange ensures the antenna remains perfectly vertical even at high speeds, preventing the "signal tilt" that would otherwise cause your jamming bubble to lift off the ground.

3. Overcoming Passive Inter-Modulation (PIM)

In high-frequency EW, loose components can generate "phantom signals." The JC7-5159 features fully welded elements and high-quality brass construction to eliminate PIM, ensuring that your SIGINT receiver can detect weak target signals without being blinded by the antenna's own noise.

Strategic EW & SIGINT Guide: JC7-5159 5 GHz Spectrum Dominance

The JC7-5159 is a precision tactical asset designed for the 5100–5900 MHz spectrum. This band is a critical battleground for modern asymmetric warfare, hosting High-Speed Wi-Fi Control Links, C-Band Tactical Data Links, and advanced RCIED triggers. Because 5 GHz signals have very short wavelengths, they are highly directional and easily blocked by terrain. The JC7-5159’s 7 dBi gain and 18-degree vertical beamwidth provide the concentrated power density required to punch through interference and establish a definitive denial zone.

1. The "Denial Disc" Strategy: 18° Vertical Beam Profile

At 5 GHz, standard low-gain antennas scatter energy too widely. The JC7-5159 uses vertically stacked brass elements to compress RF energy into a razor-thin 18-degree horizontal disc.

  • The 7 dBi Advantage: By focusing the jammer’s 200W capacity into this narrow window, you exponentially increase the Effective Radiated Power (ERP). This is essential for defeating high-frequency triggers that rely on clear line-of-sight to function.
  • Horizon Focus: This profile ensures that 100% of the jamming energy is directed at ground-level threats and low-flying tactical drones, rather than wasting power on the sky or the area directly beneath the vehicle.

2. NATO Flange & High-Frequency Stability

In the 5 GHz band, even a slight tilt of the antenna can cause the narrow 18-degree beam to "lift" off the target.

  • NATO 4-Hole Standard: The integrated NATO flange provides the mechanical rigidity needed to keep the antenna perfectly vertical at speeds up to 150 Km/Hr. This prevents the "signal skipping" that occurs when lower-quality mounts flex under wind load.
  • Optional Spring Integration: For urban operations with low-hanging infrastructure, the JCS7-5159 (Spring Version) adds 150mm of flexibility. This allows the antenna to deflect during impacts and instantly return to its calibrated vertical position, maintaining the integrity of the jamming bubble.

3. Eliminating Passive Inter-Modulation (PIM)

In high-frequency Electronic Warfare, the antenna itself can become a source of "phantom" noise if not constructed with precision.

  • Fully Welded Brass Elements: Every radiating junction in the JC7-5159 is fully welded. This eliminates the "rusty bolt effect" where loose connections generate secondary interference. A clean, PIM-free environment is vital for SIGINT operators attempting to intercept low-power, high-frequency "handshakes" from encrypted Wi-Fi links.
  • Fiberglass/ABS Radome Hybrid: The dual-material radome provides 100% RF transparency. It prevents the internal elements from shifting due to vibration, ensuring the 2.5:1 VSWR remains stable across the entire 800 MHz bandwidth.

4. "Silent" Monitoring: D.C. Grounding & Static Discharge

High-frequency receivers are extremely sensitive to the static electricity (P-Static) generated by wind friction across a radome's surface.

  • The Solution: The JC7-5159 is D.C. Grounded. It constantly bleeds off static charges to the vehicle's chassis. This results in an ultra-low noise floor, allowing a connected receiver to detect weak, frequency-hopping signals or low-probability-of-intercept (LPI) bursts that would be buried in the static of an ungrounded antenna.

Tactical Deployment Checklist

  • Line-of-Sight Clearance: 5 GHz signals do not penetrate obstacles well. Mount the JC7-5159 at the absolute highest point of the vehicle. If the antenna is "shadowed" by a roof rack or armored turret, you will have a massive dead zone in your protection perimeter.
  • Microwave-Grade Cabling: At 5900 MHz, cable loss is extreme. Do not use standard LMR-240 or RG-58. Use high-grade LMR-400 or LMR-600 for all runs. Every 3 dB of cable loss cuts your 200W jamming power in half.
  • Perfect Verticality: Because the vertical beam is only 18 degrees wide, even a 10-degree mounting error means you are jamming the sky on one side and the asphalt on the other. Use a level during installation to ensure the NATO base is perfectly flat.
  • Weather-Proof Sealing: The N-Female termination is recessed in the flange. Ensure the connection is wrapped in self-vulcanizing tape. At 5.9 GHz, even a microscopic amount of moisture in the connector will cause a massive VSWR spike and potentially damage your power amplifier.
