The JCD-500-2500 is a ruggedized, high-performance Broadband RCIED Jammer Antenna designed for the unified denial of the 500–2500 MHz spectrum. This coaxial dipole aperture provides a single-antenna solution for UHF, GSM, GPS L1/L2, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi bands, eliminating the need for complex, multi-antenna arrays. Enclosed in a UV-resistant ABS radome and featuring a standard NATO 4-hole mounting flange, it is the definitive choice for tactical vehicle-mounted jamming, shipboard surveillance, and ground-to-air communication.

Design: Unified Spectrum Denier & Signal Integrity

The JCD-500-2500 is engineered for operators who require "gapless" performance across the critical UHF and microwave frequencies.

  • Broadband "Single-Aperture" Versatility: Replaces multiple dedicated antennas by providing seamless 500–2500 MHz coverage. This simplifies the vehicular RF profile and ensures no blind spots in the jamming protection bubble.
  • Skin Current Suppression: The advanced coaxial dipole design features high suppression of skin currents. This technology ensures a smooth VSWR (Better than 2.5:1) across the entire 2 GHz bandwidth, protecting high-power amplifiers from thermal stress.
  • Hemispherical 78° Vertical Beam: The wide vertical beamwidth provides excellent ground-to-ground and ground-to-air coverage. It ensures a stable link or denial zone even when the vehicle is traversing steep grades or targeting high-angle UAVs.

Construction: MIL-Standard Vehicular Hardening

Built to survive the mechanical violence of armored transit and high-vibration naval environments.

  • NATO 4-Hole Standard: The integrated base features the industry-standard NATO 4-hole pattern. This allows for a rock-solid, rigid mount on military vehicle hulls or standard adapter plates, ensuring the antenna remains stable at speeds up to 200 Km/Hr.
  • Weather-Protected Architecture: The N-Female termination is housed entirely within the mounting pipe and flange. This recessed design shields the critical RF connection from moisture ingress, salt spray, and physical cable snagging.
  • Radome-Protected Radiators: Internal elements are fully welded to prevent RF inter-modulation (PIM) and are encased in a high-strength ABS radome that resists UV degradation and ice formation.

Technical Features

  • Gapless 500–2500 MHz Bandwidth: One antenna for UHF, GSM, LTE, and S-Band applications.
  • Massive 250W RF Power Capacity: Sustains continuous-duty jamming without electrical degradation.
  • Omni-Directional 2 dBi Gain: Provides a consistent 360° protection perimeter.
  • Wide 78° Vertical Beamwidth: Captures high-elevation signals and maintains links on uneven terrain.
  • MIL-STD-810G Certified: Tested for extreme shock, vibration, salt fog, and fungus resistance.
  • Marine-Grade Hardware: All mounting fasteners are crafted from Type 316 Stainless Steel.

Strategic EW & SIGINT Guide: JCD-500-2500 Universal Spectrum Mastery

The JCD-500-2500 is a "zero-gap" tactical asset designed for the 500 MHz to 2.5 GHz spectrum. While high-gain collinear antennas focus energy into thin horizontal slices, the coaxial dipole architecture of the JCD-500-2500 provides a massive 78-degree vertical beamwidth. This makes it the premier choice for Hemispherical Situational Awareness, allowing a single platform to monitor or jam ground-level cellular triggers and high-altitude UAV/GPS data links simultaneously.

1. Mastering Hemispherical Protection (Ground-to-Air)

In modern asymmetric warfare, threats do not just live on the roadside; they come from high-angle commercial drones (UAVs) and overhead satellite navigation signals (GPS).

  • The Wide-Beam Advantage: Standard high-gain antennas often have a "null" or dead zone directly above the mast. The JCD-500-2500’s 78-degree vertical beamwidth ensures a constant "denial bubble" from the horizon up to near-zenith angles.
  • 360° Shielding: Whether a target is a UHF tactical radio on the street or a 2.4 GHz control link on an incoming drone, this antenna maintains a stable 2 dBi gain across the entire 360-degree azimuth.

2. Tactical Jamming & RCIED Denial

To successfully disrupt wideband threats—such as frequency-hopping data links or cellular triggers—the antenna must handle high RF stress without mechanical failure.

  • 250W Continuous Power: The 6063T6 aluminum internal structure acts as an efficient heat sink. The JCD-500-2500 can sustain 250 Watts of continuous jamming power, creating a high-intensity interference zone to protect the convoy or base station.
  • Skin Current Suppression: Advanced coaxial dipole engineering suppresses skin currents on the mounting pipe. This ensures that the VSWR (2.5:1) remains stable and the radiation pattern isn't distorted by the mounting structure, allowing for "clean" power radiation.

3. NATO-Standard Mobility & Survivability

Convoy operations require hardware that can be integrated onto any platform and survive impacts with low-hanging urban obstacles.

  • NATO 4-Hole Standard: The integrated NATO flange allows for a rock-solid connection to standard vehicular mounts. This ensures the antenna remains rigidly vertical during high-speed maneuvers, which is critical for maintaining the 78-degree protection bubble.
  • Low-Profile Resilience: At only 420mm (16.5 inches) long, the JCD-500-2500 is a "low-profile" asset. It is significantly less likely to snag on trees, power lines, or camouflage netting than traditional 1.5-meter whips. The UV-resistant ABS radome protects the internal elements from sand abrasion and sun-degradation.

4. "Silent" Monitoring: D.C. Grounding & Noise Floor

For sensitive SIGINT operations, the "Noise Floor" is the ultimate enemy. High-speed wind moving across an antenna surface creates Precipitation Static (P-Static).

  • The Solution: The JCD-500-2500 is D.C. Grounded. It constantly bleeds off this static charge to the vehicle's chassis or the mounting mast. This results in an ultra-low noise floor, allowing a connected receiver to detect low-power "hidden" transmissions or weak cellular handshakes that would be buried in the static of an ungrounded antenna.

Tactical Deployment Checklist

  • Mounting Height: Because the JCD-500-2500 has a very wide vertical beam, it is sensitive to nearby obstructions. Mount the antenna at the highest possible point to prevent the vehicle's armor or the mast itself from "shadowing" the 78-degree signal.
  • Cable Integrity at 2.5 GHz: At 2500 MHz (2.5 GHz), cable loss is severe. Do not use standard RG-58. Use high-grade LMR-400 or LMR-600. Every 3 dB of cable loss effectively cuts your 250W jamming power or reception sensitivity in half.
  • Weather-Proof Termination: The N-Female connection is recessed in the mounting pipe. Ensure the cable is securely tightened and sealed with self-vulcanizing tape to prevent moisture from traveling up the cable jacket, which can detune the 2.5:1 VSWR.
  • Antenna Spacing: If deploying multiple jammers on one platform, maintain as much physical separation as possible. The wide vertical beam of the JCD-500-2500 can easily "talk" to other antennas on the same roof, potentially causing interference.
