| JCS-20-100 | VHF RCIED Jammer Omni Antenna | 20-100 MHz | -6-0 dBi |
The JCS-20-100 is a professional-grade, VHF Vehicular Mount Omni-Directional Antenna engineered for superior performance across the 20–100 MHz tactical spectrum. This heavy-duty aperture is designed to provide persistent electronic protection and wideband communication for armored vehicles and tactical command platforms. Featuring a spring-loaded NATO mounting base and a high-power handling capacity of up to 1KW, the JCS-20-100 is a critical asset for frontline units requiring reliable, ground-independent operation in the most demanding environmental theaters.
Design: Tactical VHF Resilience & Ground Independence
The JCS-20-100 is optimized for high-mobility units that require a unified solution for the entire tactical VHF band.
- Wideband 20–100 MHz Coverage: Replaces the need for multiple antennas by providing a single, continuous feed point for legacy tactical radios and modern wideband jammer systems.
- Ground Independent Architecture: Specifically engineered to operate without a ground plane, making it ideal for unconventional mounting locations. For maximum efficiency, a 3m x 3m ground plane is recommended to optimize gain and radiation stability.
- Heavy-Duty Biconical Spring: The antenna features a reinforced steel biconical spring at its base, allowing the 2.0-meter array to flex during high-speed off-road maneuvers or upon impact with low-hanging obstacles.
- Hemispherical Coverage: A wide 78-degree vertical beamwidth ensures persistent signal links with both ground-based tactical nets and low-altitude aerial assets.
Construction: Field-Hardened & MIL-SPEC Durable
Built for 24/7 survivability in extreme combat environments.
- Radome Protection: The radiating elements are vertically stacked and enclosed within a high-strength, UV-resistant ABS radome. This cylindrical enclosure is designed for low wind loading and prevents ice accumulation.
- Military-Grade Materials: Constructed using 6063T6 ultra-corrosion resistant aluminum alloy and high-grade brass elements. All mounting hardware is crafted from Type 316 marine-grade stainless steel.
- Two-Section Modular Build: Supplied in two sections for easy handling and streamlined logistics.
- Weatherproof Termination: The N-Female termination is housed at the bottom of the mounting flange, shielding the critical RF connection from moisture and dust.
Strategic EW, SIGINT & Monitoring Compatibility: JCS-20-100
The JCS-20-100 is a wideband tactical power-house designed for full-spectrum dominance in the lower VHF range. By covering the 20–100 MHz spectrum with a single high-power aperture, it provides a unified solution for Electronic Warfare (EW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and persistent Spectrum Monitoring across critical military tactical radio bands.
1. Electronic Warfare (EW) & Electronic Attack (EA)
In Electronic Attack missions, the JCS-20-100 acts as a High-Power Omnidirectional Denial Hub. Its architecture is specifically hardened for the extreme thermal and electrical stresses of continuous-duty jamming.
- RCIED & Communication Denial: Engineered to neutralize Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs) and disrupt adversary tactical voice nets (SINCGARS, combat net radios) operating in the 20-100 MHz window.
- Massive Power Throughput: With a standard 500W rating and an optional 1KW upgrade, this antenna can project a massive "denial bubble," saturating the environment to protect convoys and forward units.
- Ground-Independent EA: The ability to operate without a formal ground plane allows for effective jamming even when mounted on non-metallic surfaces or unconventional tactical platforms.
2. Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) & Electronic Support (ES)
For SIGINT operators, the JCS-20-100 is an elite Broadband Discovery Tool. Its stable VSWR and clean noise floor are essential for modern digital intercept receivers.
- Continuous Spectrum Scanning: The antenna maintains a consistent vertical radiation pattern across its 80 MHz bandwidth, allowing automated SIGINT systems to scan for legacy and frequency-hopping emitters without "blind spots."
- 360-Degree Theater Awareness: Provides total horizontal situational awareness, acting as a primary "Tripwire" to alert operators to new VHF emitters before handing them off to directional arrays for exploitation.
- Low-Noise Signal Path: The use of high-quality brass radiating elements and a D.C. grounded design ensures an ultra-clean signal path for detecting weak transmissions.
Global Compliances & MIL-STD Hardening
The JCS-20-100 is rigorously tested to MIL-STD-810G protocols, ensuring operational survivability in front-line combat zones:
| Standard | Test Method | Tactical Environmental Resilience |
|---|---|---|
| High/Low Temp | Method 500.5 / 502.5 | Operational in extreme cycles from arctic freezes to desert heat. |
| Shock/Vibration | Method 516.6 / 514.6 | Hardened for high-intensity tactical transport and combat shocks. |
| Salt Fog | Method 509.5 | Marine-grade resistance for littoral and shipboard applications. |
| Rain/Humidity | Method 506.5 / 507.5 | 100% sealed against heavy driving rain and tropical moisture. |
| Sand/Dust | MIL-STD-810G | Radome protects elements from abrasive desert sand and dust. |
| Fungus/Ice | Method 508.6 | Optimized for low ice-loading and resistant to organic growth. |
Key Advantages
- High-Power Scalability: One of the few vehicular apertures capable of scaling to 1KW for strategic wide-area signal denial.
- Biconical Spring Resilience: The heavy-duty spring base ensures the 2-meter antenna can survive impacts with trees, wires, or overhead obstacles during off-road maneuvers.
- Ground Independence: Offers tactical flexibility by providing reliable performance regardless of the mounting surface's ground-plane quality.
- Unified VHF Solution: Replaces multiple legacy antennas, reducing the RF signature and physical profile of the vehicle.
- Modular Logistics: The 2-section design simplifies shipping and replacement, reducing the logistical footprint for field repairs.
Key Applications
- Electronic Warfare (EW): High-power broadband jamming for convoy protection and RCIED defeat.
- Tactical Communications: Wideband VHF antenna for modern software-defined radios (SDRs) and multi-mode tactical nets.
- Signals Intelligence (SIGINT): Persistent spectrum monitoring and early warning signal discovery.
- Naval/Littoral Surveillance: Rugged, salt-resistant omni-directional monitoring for coastal patrol vessels.
- Command & Control (C2): Reliable VHF link for mobile command posts and tactical operation centers (TOCs).
Design Features : The JCS-20-100 Jammer Collinear Antenna is rugged all weather model, enclosed in a Fiber Glass enclosure, uses high class aluminum alloy and does not require any field tuning or adjustments. The N-Female termination of antenna is fixed at the bottom of NATO mounting base antenna to provide complete weather protection. This fiber glass jammer collinear antenna is specially designed to mount on the side of the vehicle with the help antenna adaptor base plate. The antenna uses standard NATO 4 holes mounting pattern flange fitted with biconical spring making it rigid to withstand tough MIL environmental condition. Similarly the antenna can also be supplied with pole mounting hardware (optional).Other customized mounting can also be supplied on request.
