| JD-1018 | RCIED Jammer Omni Antenna | 1000-1800MHz | 2.5 dBi. |
The JD-1018 is a professional-grade, ultra-compact Omni-Directional Jammer Discone Antenna specifically engineered for the 1000–1800 MHz spectrum. This wideband aperture is a critical asset for Electronic Warfare (EW) units, providing a single-antenna solution for neutralizing threats across the L-band, including GPS (L1/L2), GSM-1800, and tactical data links. Featuring a massive 500-Watt power handling capacity and a ruggedized ABS radome, the JD-1018 is designed for persistent electronic protection across vehicular, man-pack, and fixed-site platforms.
Design: Wideband L-Band Dominance
The JD-1018 is optimized for mission-critical hubs that require a broad electronic "denial bubble" across multiple frequency blocks without the need for field tuning.
- Discone Architecture Performance: The discone design provides exceptionally smooth VSWR and constant gain across the entire 800 MHz bandwidth. This allows for simultaneous jamming of GPS L1/L2, GLONASS, and cellular (1.8 GHz) frequencies.
- Hemispherical 78° Beamwidth: The wide vertical beamwidth ensures consistent signal saturation, creating a reliable protective "shield" even when the platform is in motion or traversing uneven tactical terrain.
- Extreme Power Density: Despite its compact 180 mm length, the antenna is engineered to handle 500 Watts of continuous-duty RF transmission, enabling aggressive wide-area signal denial.
Construction: Tactical Versatility & Hardening
Built for survivability in the world’s most punishing theaters, from arctic freezes to arid desert combat.
- Ruggedized ABS Radome: The internal core is fully protected by a high-strength ABS radome. This material offers elite RF transparency and mechanical robustness to withstand physical impact, UV radiation, and wind loads of 200 Km/Hr.
- Aerospace-Grade Materials: Constructed using 6063T6 ultra-corrosion resistant aluminum alloy and high-grade Teflon and Nylon insulators to ensure electrical integrity under extreme thermal and RF stress.
- Three Tactical Mounting Options:
- Roof-Top Hole (16mm): For discreet, low-profile vehicle mounting with N-Female termination.
- Direct Man-Pack: Optimized for dismounted troops with M-Male termination.
- Pole Mount: Suitable for fixed sites with 32–51 mm pipes.
Strategic EW, SIGINT & Monitoring Compatibility
- Electronic Warfare (EW): Primary tool for wide-area GNSS (GPS L1/L2) denial, signal spoofing, and RCIED defeat in the 1.0–1.8 GHz range.
- Signals Intelligence (SIGINT): The clean noise floor and stable 2.5 dBi gain allow for high-fidelity intercept of L-band satellite telemetry and tactical data links.
- Spectrum Surveillance: The 360-degree horizontal coverage acts as a persistent electronic "tripwire" for theater situational awareness and early warning signal discovery.
Global Compliances & MIL-STD Hardening
The JD-1018 is engineered for battle-ready reliability:
- Thermal Tolerance: Operational from -30°C to +70°C, ensuring performance in any global theater.
- Humidity Resilience: 0 to 95% RH rating for tropical and high-humidity environments.
- Structural Rigidity: The ultra-compact 1 Kg build is inherently resistant to high-vibration tactical environments.
Key Advantages
- Massive Power Capacity: 500W rating allows for superior signal saturation compared to smaller man-pack antennas.
- Unified L-Band Solution: Covers a broad spectrum (1000–1800 MHz) in a single, maintenance-free footprint.
- Low-Profile SWaP: Only 180 mm (7 inches) in length, minimizing the visual and physical signature of the platform.
- Zero Field Tuning: Factory-tuned architecture ensures immediate tactical deployment.
- Multi-Platform Agility: Can be transitioned from a vehicle to a man-pack or base station in minutes.
Design Features : The JD-1018 Jammer Discone Antenna is rugged all weather model, enclosed in a ABS radome, uses all ultra corrosion resistant aluminum alloy and does not require any field tuning or adjustments. The compact size of omni-directional antenna allows easy handling, shipping and highly suitable for transmitting, receiving without having the requirement of multiple antennas. Cylindrical enclosure is used for low wind loading and for minimal effect of ice formation on the antenna operation as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
