The JD-1018 is a professional-grade, ultra-compact Omni-Directional Jammer Discone Antenna specifically engineered for the 1000–1800 MHz spectrum. This wideband aperture is a critical asset for Electronic Warfare (EW) units, providing a single-antenna solution for neutralizing threats across the L-band, including GPS (L1/L2), GSM-1800, and tactical data links. Featuring a massive 500-Watt power handling capacity and a ruggedized ABS radome, the JD-1018 is designed for persistent electronic protection across vehicular, man-pack, and fixed-site platforms.

Design: Wideband L-Band Dominance

The JD-1018 is optimized for mission-critical hubs that require a broad electronic "denial bubble" across multiple frequency blocks without the need for field tuning.

  • Discone Architecture Performance: The discone design provides exceptionally smooth VSWR and constant gain across the entire 800 MHz bandwidth. This allows for simultaneous jamming of GPS L1/L2, GLONASS, and cellular (1.8 GHz) frequencies.
  • Hemispherical 78° Beamwidth: The wide vertical beamwidth ensures consistent signal saturation, creating a reliable protective "shield" even when the platform is in motion or traversing uneven tactical terrain.

    1. Roof-Top Hole (16mm): For discreet, low-profile vehicle mounting with N-Female termination.
    2. Direct Man-Pack: Optimized for dismounted troops with M-Male termination.

Design Features : The JD-1018 Jammer Discone Antenna is rugged all weather model, enclosed in a ABS radome, uses all ultra corrosion resistant aluminum alloy and does not require any field tuning or adjustments. The compact size of omni-directional antenna allows easy handling, shipping and highly suitable for transmitting, receiving without having the requirement of multiple antennas. Cylindrical enclosure is used for low wind loading and for minimal effect of ice formation on the antenna operation as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Constructions: The jammer discone antenna is supplied complete in assembled condition. This discone antenna has smooth VSWR and constant Gain over the 1000 - 1800 MHz frequency band. The JD-1018 jammer discone antenna consists of ultra corrosion resistant radiating elements and enclosed in ABS housing. The ABS has excellent transparency for Radio Signal and mechanically Robust to support extra mechanical strength to the discone antenna.

Mounting: Following three options are available to choose from:
(1) Roof-top hole mounting on the vehicle which requires a 16mm hole through roof of the vehicle with N-Female termination. (2) Man-pack mounting; in this you can mount the antenna directly on the equipment with M-male termination. (3) Antenna can be supplied with pole mounting hardware; in this the mounting hardware is suitable for mounting on any outer diameter pipe between 32-51mm.
