Bioconical antennas highly suitable for number of applications, typically in the VHF and UHF frequency ranges especially between 30-300 MHz band. These antennas are generally used in electromagnetic interference testing either for immunity testing, or emissions testing. They are more effective than half-wave dipoles, because biconical antennas allow continuous sweeps across the specified frequency band, allowing for more ease in discovering abnormality.
