| JCM6-1216 | All GPS Band Manpack Jammer Antenna | 1200-1600MHz. | 6 dBi. |
The JCM6-1216 is a high-performance Broadband Manpack Jammer Collinear Antenna specifically engineered for the 1200–1600 MHz (1.2–1.6 GHz) spectrum. This unified aperture is a critical tactical asset for the simultaneous denial of multiple satellite-based navigation and timing signals, including GPS L1, GPS L2, GLONASS, and Galileo bands. By delivering a concentrated 6 dBi peak gain and an exceptional 150W power handling capacity in a compact 350 mm form factor, it provides dismounted Electronic Warfare (EW) teams with a versatile, high-intensity solution for GNSS signal suppression.
Design: Unified GNSS Spectrum Mastery
The JCM6-1216 is designed for operators who require "zero-gap" protection across the L-band GNSS spectrum without carrying multiple antennas.
- Broadband Dual-Band Coverage: This antenna provides a unified solution for the entire 400 MHz bandwidth. It ensures consistent protection against both military L2 (1227.6 MHz) and civilian/military L1 (1575.42 MHz) satellite downlinks.
- Exceptional 150W Power Handling: Built to sustain continuous-duty, high-power electronic attack missions, the JCM6-1216 manages up to 150 Watts of RF throughput. This allows for massive signal saturation to overcome anti-jamming GNSS receiver logic.
- Optimized 35° Vertical Beamwidth: The antenna focuses its radiation into a 35-degree vertical beam. This directs the jamming energy toward the horizon, maximizing the effective Jamming-to-Signal (J/S) ratio where ground-based or low-altitude receivers are located.
- Direct Transmitter Integration: Featuring an N-Male termination, the antenna mounts directly onto the equipment. This eliminates lossy coaxial cables, ensuring every watt of jamming power reaches the aperture.
Construction: Hardened Tactical Architecture
Built for the rigors of modern theater, the JCM6-1216 is a "zero-tuning" tactical asset designed for immediate deployment.
- Aerospace-Grade Materials: Utilizing 6063T6 ultra-corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy for radiating elements and Teflon/Nylon insulators, the antenna maintains electrical stability under extreme RF thermal loads.
- Ultra-Compact & Agile: At only 350 mm (13.7 inches) and 500 grams, it provides an elite power-to-size ratio, minimizing the physical footprint and snagging risk for dismounted foot patrols.
- Rugged ABS Radome: The internal architecture is protected by a high-strength ABS radome, finished in Olive Green (RAL6003). This housing is UV-stabilized and RF-transparent, shielding the system from ice, sand, and moisture.
Technical Features
- Unified 1200–1600 MHz Coverage: Simultaneous denial of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou L-band signals.
- 6.0 dBi Mid-Band Gain: Optimized for peak performance at the center of the tactical frequency range.
- 150W RF Power Handling: Robust enough for high-intensity, continuous-duty EW operations.
- Superior VSWR (2.0:1): Ensures efficient power transfer and protects portable transmitter electronics.
- All-Weather Architecture: Tapered cylindrical enclosure reduces wind loading and resists ice formation.
- Operational Endurance: Fully functional in extreme temperatures from -30°C to +70°C.
Design Features:The JCM6-1216 omni -directional antenna is rugged all weather model, enclosed in a ABS radome, uses all ultra corrosion resistant aluminum alloy and does not require any field tuning or adjustments. The compact size of omni-directional antenna allows easy handling, shipping and highly suitable for transmitting, receiving including GPS L1 band GPS L2 band without having the requirement of multiple antennas. Cylindrical enclosure is used for low wind loading and for minimal effect of ice formation on the antenna operation as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
