Introduction of Environmental Compliance Policy
At Antenna Experts, we take our ethical responsibility to protect the environment seriously. As an ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO/OHSAS 18001 (Safety) registered firm operating under a "Zero Defect, Zero Effect" policy, we are committed to manufacturing high-quality military, aerospace, and telecommunications antennas that have no adverse effect on the environment. We declare that all products delivered to domestic, European, and international markets comply with the following environmental directives.
RoHS Compliance Policy (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
Antenna Experts declares that all equipment manufactured by us aligns with the European Union Directives 2002/95/EC and 2011/65/EU regarding the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment.
Material Compliance:
- Exemptions: Parts manufactured from aluminum, brass, and steel comply with the EU RoHS Directive per Exemption 6.
- Fully Compliant Materials: Parts manufactured from stainless steel, nylon, phenolic, and Teflon are fully compliant and do not contain any Deca-BDE or other restricted substances.
Restricted Substances Monitored: We ensure that our products do not exceed the allowable limits for the following hazardous substances:
- Lead (Pb)
- Mercury (Hg)
- Cadmium (Cd)
- Hexavalent Chromium (Cr VI)
- Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
- Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE)
REACH Compliance Policy (Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemicals)
Antenna Experts fully supports the European Union's REACH regulation (EC 1907/2006) adopted on December 18, 2006, designed to protect human health and the environment from the risks posed by chemicals.
Our Commitment:
- We actively monitor the properties and intended uses of the chemical substances present in our supply chain.
- We maintain an open method of exchanging material information between our suppliers, channel partners, and customers.
- We confirm that all products manufactured by Antenna Experts and delivered to the European Union are fully compatible with the REACH Directive.
WEEE Compliance Policy (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
The WEEE Directive (2002/96/EC) aims to reduce the amount of waste going to landfills by improving the re-use, recovery, and recycling rates of electrical and electronic equipment.
Our Commitment:
- Waste Reduction: We implement strict internal measures to limit the amount of manufacturing waste we produce as a business.
- Lifecycle Responsibility: We recognize our role as a producer of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) and adhere to the regulations surrounding end-of-life disposal.
- Compliance: We confirm that all products manufactured by Antenna Experts and delivered to the European Union are fully compatible with the WEEE Directive.
