The LP-1000-6000 is a professional-grade, radome-protected High Performance Log Periodic Dipole Antenna engineered for absolute spectrum dominance across the 1000–6000 MHz (1–6 GHz) bands. This ultra-wideband aperture is a unified solution for modern microwave applications, covering GPS L1/L2, GSM, 4G LTE, 5G FR1, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, and S/C-Band telemetry. Encased in a ruggedized ABS radome and featuring fully welded elements, it is the definitive choice for high-precision SIGINT, wideband monitoring, and high-power jamming in the world's most demanding environments.

Design: 6 GHz Ultra-Wideband Precision

The LP-1000-6000 is designed for operators who require gapless visibility across the entire microwave landscape without switching hardware.

  • Unified 1–6 GHz Coverage: Replaces multiple dedicated antennas for GPS, Cellular, Wi-Fi, and Satellite telemetry with a single high-gain aperture.
  • Non-Loaded Efficiency: By avoiding lossy loading techniques, the antenna maintains a stable 9 dBi gain and superior radiation efficiency across its entire 5000 MHz bandwidth.
  • Welded Element Integrity: All radiating elements are fully welded to the support boom. This critical design feature prevents RF inter-modulation (PIM) and ensures the antenna maintains its electrical fingerprint under high-power transmission or intense mechanical vibration.

Construction: Radome Protection & Environmental Hardening

Housed in a high-tech ABS Radome, the LP-1000-6000 is built for continuous mission-critical performance in the most severe climates.

  • Strategic Radome Advantage: The ruggedized ABS enclosure provides 100% RF transparency while physically shielding the elements from ice formation, sand erosion, and salt fog. The tapered design ensures a low wind profile (200 KMPH) and prevents performance degradation caused by extreme weather.
  • MIL-STD-810G Certified: Rigorously tested for shock, vibration, humidity, and fungus resistance. It is the premier choice for permanent naval installations, coastal monitoring, or mobile vehicle-mounted EW suites.
  • Integrated Safety: Operates at D.C. ground, providing a direct discharge path for lightning and suppressing atmospheric static for an ultra-quiet noise floor during sensitive SIGINT operations.

Technical Features

  • Elite 1–6 GHz Wideband Performance: Gapless coverage for modern digital signals.
  • Rugged ABS Radome: Ensures survivability and electrical stability in all weather.
  • High-Efficiency 9 dBi Gain: Focused 60-degree horizontal beamwidth for long-range intercepts.
  • High Power Capacity: Handles 250W at 1 GHz and 100W at 6 GHz for continuous-duty jamming.
  • Compact & Lightweight: At only 2.0 Kgs, it is ideal for rapid-deployment masts and UAV tracking systems.
  • Rear-End Mounting Mastery: Mounting at the back end ensures the support mast remains outside the radiation pattern to prevent beam distortion.
  • Corrosion Resistance: 6063T6 aluminum with olive green powder coating for tactical low visibility.

Integration Guide: Mastering the Microwave Spectrum

1. High-Precision Spatial Filtering

In the signal-dense 1–6 GHz environment (crowded with Wi-Fi and Cellular signals), isolating a target requires a surgical directional focus.

  • The 9 dBi Advantage: The focused 60-degree beamwidth acts as an RF "spotlight," allowing an operator to isolate a specific 5G cell or drone data link while physically "nulling out" interference from the sides and rear.

2. Tactical Jamming & J/S Ratio Optimization

When projecting power across microwave frequencies, gain is the most critical factor. The 9 dBi gain acts as an RF magnifying glass, concentrating energy into a focused cone, exponentially increasing your Effective Radiated Power (ERP) to successfully disrupt high-speed data links.

3. All-Weather SIGINT Monitoring

In coastal or arctic regions, salt spray and ice act as conductors that detune open-air antennas. The ABS Radome ensures that the LP-1000-6000 maintains a consistent VSWR and gain profile, protecting the high-fidelity welded elements from physical and electrical degradation.

Strategic EW & SIGINT Guide: LP-1000-6000 Microwave Dominance (1–6 GHz)

The LP-1000-6000 is a surgical "all-in-one" tool for the 1.0 to 6.0 GHz spectrum. This massive 5000 MHz range is the operational core of modern digital civilization, hosting GPS L1/L2, 4G/5G Cellular, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, and S/C-Band Satellite Telemetry. In a battlespace defined by low-power microwave bursts and high-speed data hopping, the LP-100-6000’s 9 dBi gain and ABS Radome protection provide the fidelity required for mission success.

1. Mastering the Microwave Landscape

Across the 1–6 GHz range, radio waves behave with "optical" precision. They do not bend over hills; they travel in strict line-of-sight and reflect sharply off almost any solid surface.

  • The Precision Advantage: The focused 60-degree horizontal beamwidth of the LP-1000-6000 acts as an RF "spotlight." This allows an operator to isolate a specific 5G cell sector or a 5.8 GHz drone command link while physically "nulling out" interference from neighboring urban noise.
  • Range Extension: At microwave frequencies, path loss is severe. Every 6 dB of gain effectively doubles your reception range. The 9 dBi gain allows you to pull in weak data bursts from distances where standard omnidirectional antennas would see nothing but background static.

2. Defeating Urban Multipath & Polarization Rotation

Microwave signals reflect sharply off glass, metal, and concrete. Each reflection can cause the signal's polarization to shift—a phenomenon known as Polarization Rotation.

  • The "Null" Problem: Most mobile devices and drones are vertically polarized. If a signal reflects off a slanted roof or metal structure, it may arrive at your site with a significant horizontal shift. A standard vertical antenna would experience a signal dropout of up to 20 dB.
  • The Tactical Solution: The LP-1000-6000 features a mounting arrangement that allows operators to switch between Horizontal and Vertical polarization in seconds. This ensures you can match the orientation of the incoming reflected wave to maintain a high-speed data intercept or clear monitoring.

3. High-Power Jamming & J/S Ratio Optimization

To successfully disrupt a target link (e.g., a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi control link or a 5 GHz video downlink), you must achieve a superior Jamming-to-Signal (J/S) ratio at the victim’s receiver.

  • Strategic Power Concentration: At 6 GHz, path loss is high, meaning your jammer must be efficient. The LP-1000-6000 focuses 100 Watts of energy (up to 250W at 1 GHz) into a tight 60-degree cone.
  • ERP Advantage: This concentration exponentially increases your Effective Radiated Power (ERP). This allows an operator to successfully "drown out" a legitimate control signal from several kilometers away, even when the adversary is using sophisticated frequency-hopping hardware.

4. "Silent" Monitoring: D.C. Grounding & Noise Floor

For sensitive SIGINT operations, the "Noise Floor" is the ultimate enemy. Atmospheric static and electronic noise can easily mask low-power microwave data packets.

  • The Solution: The LP-1000-6000 is D.C. Grounded. It constantly bleeds off static charge to the mast and earth. This ensures the lowest possible noise floor, allowing you to detect weak, "hidden" transmissions or low-probability-of-intercept (LPI) signals that would be buried in the static of an ungrounded antenna.

Tactical Deployment Checklist

  • Cable Integrity at 6 GHz: At 6000 MHz (6 GHz), cable loss is catastrophic. Do not use standard RG-58 or even LMR-400 for long runs. Use high-grade LMR-600 or corrugated copper feeders. Every 3 dB of cable loss effectively cuts your jamming power or reception sensitivity in half.
  • Radome Maintenance: While the ABS radome is rugged, ensure the surface is kept clean of heavy mud, ice, or metallic debris. At microwave frequencies, surface contaminants can refract the signal and distort the 60-degree beam.
  • Rear-Mount Advantage: Since the mount is at the rear of the 450mm boom, the 2-inch metal mast remains completely behind the antenna. This prevents "Mast Shadowing," which would otherwise cause dangerous reflections and distort the high-frequency beam.
  • Boresight Alignment: Because the beamwidth is only 60 degrees, a 30-degree error in alignment will drop your gain significantly. At 6 GHz, precision is everything. Use a high-quality compass or GPS-aligned mount to ensure the antenna is pointed exactly at the target sector.
